Jordan Master has over 15 years of coaching experience. In 2021, he was named Coach of the Year by Sport Aurora. He is certified by Tennis Canada as a Club Pro 1 Coach and is a member of the Tennis Professional Association. Jordan has had great success coaching players of all ages, and levels. He started out coaching in his hometown of Thornhill, then took his talents south of the border to coach in Los Cabos Mexico for a year. When he returned to Canada, he began work at Timberlane Athletic club in Aurora, and he loved the town immediately. The next adventure was a great opportunity to be the Head Pro for Total Tennis, at Greenhills in London On. Now that Jordan is back in town, the chance to return to Aurora to run ACTC tennis is a dream come true.
Jordan looks forward to demonstrating his enthusiasm, passion, and knowledge of tennis in the community. With his years of coaching experience, Jordan has proved his abilities to handle both on-court needs such as lessons, camps, and clinics, as well as off-court skills such as social, community and administrative, with his trademark tournaments and events. He is known for his high energy and flair, and he has inspired both kids and adults to love and appreciate tennis. Jordan’s goal is to teach life skills as well as improve players’ lives through the social and emotional benefits of tennis.
Jordan is an all-around athlete who grew up playing competitive hockey, baseball and soccer. In addition to coaching, he still loves to compete and plays tennis in the men’s league, mixed majors in the winter and Intercounty in the summer. In his downtime, you will find him watching tennis, hockey, football and basketball. He looks forward to seeing you on the courts!
