Voting Process

I am pleased to invite you to vote in our 2019 Board Elections. If you are a paid up ACTC member as of May 29th, 2019, you are eligible to vote for the 2019 slate of Board Directors.

The Annual General Meeting will be held on Friday, May 31th, at 7:00 PM in the Lawn Bowling Club, upstairs from our clubhouse. 

Voting for Board Directors will begin on May 15th and end on May 29th at 6:00 p.m. The Board candidate's profiles will be posted on May 9th. Members are invited to review candidate profiles posted on our website before they vote. Members interested in running for election are to complete their Profile and send it to the Board President for posting before the May 9th deadline. 

Online Voting Process

After clicking on the link in your invitation to vote, you will be requested to login to our membership system to vote. After you log in with your email and password, the vote page will open up.

If you forgot your password, click on "FORGOT PASSWORD". A new password will be emailed to you. Check your inbox (or trash folder), find the new password sent to you, copy the password and paste it into your login box. After logging in, you will see the vote page and you can vote. 

When voting, please note that your choice of candidates includes an Abstain option. Also, in order for your vote to be submitted, you must select a candidate for each Board position. You do have an option to click on Abstain if your unsure or don't know enough about the candidates to vote. 

The current Board has done an excellent job in testing and approving the online voting software for our 2019 Board Election. Be assured your vote will be anonymous. The Board is very pleased to have created a online voting process that reaches out to all it's members. 

The ACTC Board has recruited two ex Board Directors Election Moderators. They are well known for their volunteer contributions at ACTC. Their role is to oversee the election online voting process. These individuals ensure the current ACTC Board has a "arms length" role in the 2018 Board Director Election.

Candidate Profiles

Eligible (voting) Members are invited to review each candidate's profile before they vote.

Each candidate is asked to provide statements about their work and or volunteer history, the skills they wish to contribute and why they want to serve on the Board. If candidates are seeking election for a specific Board Position, please state the position. If you have no preference for a Board position, please state no preference in your profile.  

Board candidates are to email their Candidate Profile to the ACTC Board President before the deadline of May 9th. All of the Candidate Profiles will be posted on our website on May 9, 2019. Voting will commence on May 15, 2019. Members will have 14 days to review candidate profiles. The voting process will end May 29th. 

The Election results will be announced at the AGM on Friday, May 31st.  

Candidates Standing for Election

The candidates standing for election to the 2019 Board of Directors are listed on the Candidates webpage (open for public on May 9, 2019) . Please review the candidates profile and vote between May 15th and May 29th 2019. 

Candidates, please state in your profile which Board Position they are seeking. They may indicate "no preference". Final Board positions are assigned and decided on at the first Board meeting.           

The Director positions are:

President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Facilities, Hospitality, Player Development and Director at Large, Past-President (note: non elected position)

Tennis and/or Pickleball - a game for life
